The active part of working with trees, there is a vast spectrum of work that can be carried out to benefit each individual tree. Whether it be to improve the trees well-being, improve amenity levels or improving safety. Using rope access, aerial platforms or mechanical devices to access all trees.
Tree management is assessing, planning and carrying out work for an individual tree or a group of trees. We assess each tree and construct a schedule of when and what kind of work needs to be carried out to the tree based on its current situation and what may benefit in the future. This is ideal for Property Management companies, Schools and Venues etc.
Removing tree stumps can reclaim areas, improve access and improve safety. We use a stump grinder to grind the stump into a timber/soil mulch which is used to fill the space where the stump once was. We can remove stumps down to a depth of of 30cm and with a machine width of 63cm we can access difficult to reach areas like through houses, small side gates or between buildings. We have access to larger machines for making the removal of large stumps more cost effective and efficient.
Wildlife conservation works in conjunction with our Forestry and Countryside management, whilst carrying out the works we always aim to either keep habitats undisturbed or provide new areas and habitats. We work with a number of Ecology companies aiding them with our aerial access techniques to survey wildlife that may be hard to spot from the ground like Birds of Prey or Bats. We also have experience in installing bird boxes and Bat roosting boxes.
It is vital to plant more trees to be more sustainable for the future but also to be able to enjoy their benefits now. It is important to assess an area before planting to make sure that the correct tree is selected for conditions, soil type and Ph. We use a number of local nurseries that provide a great and wide range of native and non-native trees.
